Greetings:
I am on my flight home from my week at the “IM” training center, (MMT), Libby, Montana. As with past classes I taught a course on missions. Even though I have covered this material many times, it is always fresh for me because of the student’s diverse backgrounds and experiences. And this time was no exception. Each class seems to get focused in one major point of missions, this class was encouraged by discovering that God calls us to missions not only by His Word, Spirit, past prophets but all of creation is calling us to serve. They discovered that even hell is calling us to go!` (Luke 16:26-28)
I have each class write up the own “10 Commandments to Missions” It is always encouraging to watch this list devolve over the week. Each class seems to come up with 2 or 3 unique commandments. For this group it was # 6, 7 & 9. (See list below)
In addition I had quality time with Obbie Todd. Obbie is headed to Uganda. He will be arriving in Uganda Sunday, Feb. 8. During his 4 months in Uganda he will be teaming up with the Morris family. He wants me to make sure you know he is from Kentucky.
It is such a blessing to be part of the team that helps train and encourage the next generation of missionaries. I am so grateful for your prayer and financial support as we continue to reach the world for Christ.
