PipesLine #41-11

Greetings from Jinja, Uganda:

Over the past few months I have sought after your prayer support. And I know that you have been faithful in responding. So I would like to focus on how God has answered some of our prayer request.

First I want to Give God the glory because the summer camps had a powerful impact on many this year.

  1. The gospel was presented to many in a one-on-one approach.
  2. Many responded by accepting Jesus as personal Savior and Lord.
  3. 3 Bible studies have formed from the summer outreaches:
    * 2 men’s purity groups meet each week.
    * 1 Women’s study meets each week. Last meeting 2 of Muslims ladies we had prayed for showed up. I believe one of them prayed to receive Christ during the medical camp.
  4. A Bible study group continues strong at the hotel we had our conferences at this summer.
  5. The ministry of MUM is starting off well.
  6. The Resource Center of being utilized by the church and community in Busana.
  7. Women are making cloths for families in need children, an outcome of the sewing ministry.
  8. The boy that fallout of a mango tree and broke his back is home from the hospital. However he is permanently disables and well never walk again.
  9. The team came and gone with-out any major mishaps.
  10. God has redirected me concerning starting the Firm Foundations class. At the moment the greater need is to begin a 4 month class on Biblical Eldership. It is opened to all men in the churches we serve in the Busana area.
Please continue to pray for:
  1. The financial resources we are in need of for the operation of MUM this coming year. (More information to come in the following weeks).
  2. Preparation for the elder training classes.
  3. Next week a couple from the states will arrive to start a 2 week outreach. She is a medical professional and he will be training church staff on computers and some basic software.
  4. Application process for River Nile Mission Training class, starting January 2012.
  5. For my continual learning.  Learning to live along is,… well let’s just say lonely.  And that I avoid the temptation of isolation over fellowship.
  6. That I and my co-workers stand firm in the truth. Never backing down or away from presenting the Gospel.

Certainly I could share many more answered prayers and so many more prayer request.  This is just a small glimpse of God’s faithfulness.  And also a clear sign that He does truly listen and respond when his children seek after Him in truth and spirit.

I pray that God will richly enlighten you today with a greater understanding of all we process in Christ Jesus,

John
